Experienced Hardware Design Engineer
(Multi Positions Available: From Intermediate to Senior Level up to 5+ years of experience) Job Description As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing both Analog and Digital circuits of complex hardware platforms based on various CPUs such as ARM, PowerPC, MIPS, x86 for Wireless Router, Storage, Home Automation, Consumer Electronics and “Internet of Things” (IoT) products. You will also be responsible for: performing hardware/board bring up, debugging, solving design issues, optimizing hardware designs, and producing hardware specification/documentation. Responsibilities Responsible for the design and development of analog & digital circuits for company products Evaluate and select digital/analog components for product design based on performance, cost and feature tradeoffs Drawing schematics using OrCAD software, works with CAD engineers on layout tasks including component placement and Printed Circuit Board routing Working with contracted manufacturers for Printed Circuit Board fabrication and assembly to build prototype and work with ODM on DFM, DFT matters Prepare hardware specification and templates for design proposal, testing and report Define and develop hardware test plan, perform tests to ensure that the hardware meets performance and functional requirements Performing hardware bring up, testing and resolved board issue(s), perform compliance test (Safety, EMI, EMC, ESD) Attending international training & business trip if required Job Requirement Minimum of 2 years up to 7 years of digital & analog hardware design experience Strong experience with low and high speed I/O designs: I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, SATA, PCI Express, DDR2, DDR3, USB2.0, USB3.0, RGMII, Gigabit Ethernet, etc. Solid experience with OrCAD schematic capture and Allegro PCB Design tools Experience with Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, ZigBee, Z-Wave, PLC (Power Line Communication) is a plus Experience with NAS (Network Attachment Storage), Home Automation, Consumer product designs is also a plus Knowledge of design simulation tools such as HyperLynx, Pspice, MultiSim is a plus Experience with complete product development cycle is preferred Good English and Vietnamese communications skills, both verbal and writing BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related discipline is required Contact: iot.bridge@gmail.com |
